funetics Club & Community Activator

About this qualification

The funetics Club and Community Activator course is designed for newcomers / unqualified individuals, as well as those already qualified within athletics to deliver funetics activities, using the templates for schemes of work and session plans. The course will qualify people to deliver the funetics programme only and to support children aged 4 – 11 years.

The course consists of:

• • 2 x online modules:

• • • Module 1 includes:
      Overview of funetics
      Child Development
      Skill Development
      Delivering to young people
    • Module 2 includes:
      Delivering to young athletes
      Session safety
      Risk assessments
      Plan / Do / Review (content delivery)

It also includes a practical session that looks to apply the theoretical content covered in the online modules in a practical environment.

• • • This includes putting the theory of delivery into practice.
